Design Requirements
Please find PSD file to download here: abingdonfamilydentistry.com
Using the current .PSD file provided, convert to a Wordpress Template. It should be fully compatible with latest version of Wordpress (3.3.1)
1. Logo, name, slogan (“we make you smile”) and address are STATIC
2. PHONE NUMBER needs to be EDITABLE (can be in the main WP template HTML, just cannot be part of the background or in jpg)
3. There are 3 Middle Menu positions (these are the 3 rows in the PSD). Each row HAS to be a separate menu. Each menu should start out as CENTERED (so if only 3 items are in the menu, they will be in the center, as more items are added, they will fill out the whole row)
4. There are 2 Bottom Menu Positions (Left, and Center).
a. The Left menu should increase vertically as menu items are added
b. The Centre menu should use two columns and increase vertically as menu items are added (i.e if 4 items, two in each column, if 5 items, three in first column, two in 2nd column etc)
5. For each menu item, when mouse hovers over, the text should light up slightly
6. There is one bottom Widget position (in the location of the google map). Do NOT put the google map JPG from the PSD here, this should be a position for the Google Map Widget so it can be dynamic.
7. The 4 social media buttons should be clickable. They should have a link (you can use just standard www.facebook.com etc for now and we will add actual links manually in the template HTML)
8. The Picture section should have the 5 pictures included in the PSD on a rotating fade in/fade out setting as a FLV (doesn’t have to be FLV but that’s probably easiest).
9. The homepage should have two “modules” that can be edited in the Wordpress editor. Each module should be formatted
a. Module 1: Welcome message
b. Module 2: News
c. Each module should have the “Click here for more information” button as in the PSD
d. Each module should have an HTML widget position next to it where we can add either a picture or embed a video.
10. The Page layout should be the same as the homepage. In the Page layout, there will not be the Modules described above, instead where there is Module 1, there would be the text of the page (which is editable in the Wordpress page editor)
11. No need to copy or include the SEO text on the bottom.
12. The “Contact Us” box should follow the user and float as they scroll. It should be positioned OVER the text (see boxposition.pdf)
All of the above should be available in both the Page and Blog post layout. The only difference in Blog Post layout is that the posts appear with “read more” and “comments” sections.
Please NOTE: We want to make sure that YOU have a good understanding of the requirements for this project. If you are confused by anything, please clarify before starting the project. Although this is a pretty easy conversion, we are very specific on what we want, so you must be able to execute it to the specficiations above in order for payment. |
