Also, I would like your input for the following:
1.Add a Calendar of upcoming events on the homepage with links (from each individual event date) to charity’s website or event landing page with details.
2. Can you add music to the site? I have amazing artists that have great music that will allow us the rights to use their music if desired.
3. Add a scrolling marquee across the homepage with a photo slideshow of events
4. like the comments capability and how you can share each event/article.
5. Add all the new events, developments, etc on the Home Page. Rather than just a vertical home page set-up, can you have the new events listed on the left-hand side, a Donate Now section on the right with info on featured non-profit(s), and a Follow Us/Friend Us community section in the middle (or however the arrangement looks)? I like that feature on the ONEHOPE wine home page at www.onehopewine.com
6. About Us section: We will need to clean this up and make it shorter. I think it's too long. Or at the least we should have one concise statement that sums up who we are at the top of the paragraph.
7. Events Section: Use thumbnails but also have titles with name of event, date, etc and list events by date. Resize the thumbnails so the logo look and fit properly.
8. Also on the Events Section page, under the thumbnail, we should list the links to video, photos, press release, press clippings testimonials, etc. I think this is easier than having to click on the thumbnail for the links because then people can quickly view and click on whatever link they want.
9. Service Section: Clean up look of services and we should update services.
10. Perhaps even have a hyperlink at the top of the page with each service listed so when they click on that service link, they can be taken to that info wherever it is listed on the page.
11. Videos Section: If we're going to have a video tab in addition to the video link in each charities event section, should we also have a photos tab? I think photos are more appealing to people since it is easier to scroll through images and people do not have to wait for it to upload and then for it to play all the way to look at stuff.
12. Misc: Perhaps we could have a Clients Section to also include our for-profit clients.
13. In addition to listing recommendation letters and press clippings in each charities listing in the Events section, should we have another tab for that so people can more easily access it? We could call it "press and testimonials"?
14. How do we handle Friends who are not Clients, like our business affiliates and associates such as our non-profit accountant and lawyer, NSBN and Kent Seton? I would like to have banners or ads like on the White House homepage advertising for our friends. |
