This is for a Wordpress Website. We have a client that needs a custom banner displayed based upon the section of the wordpress website (and possibly how the person arrived at the article). Basically right now the client has a banner (the large default image in the header)
He wants to continue to have have a DEFAULT Banner, but then be able to switch out a banner based upon where the viewer is at on the website.
So for example, a business might want to be sponsor an entire SCHOOL so whenever someone is viewing articles posted under their school - then the ad is delivered up top. For what its worth -- the schools are divided by categories and the sports are divided among tags.
On first glance this seems easy because you can then attach an ad to the specific school category. But since the sports articles NORMALLY have two schools that are covered by the same website (IE in two different categories) they want ABC Ad to be displayed on 123 school and DEF Ad to be displayed on 456 school. |
